Privacy policy

Data not collected

Drawtale does not collect any data from you or about how you use the app. There is no account and no sign-in, so we never ask for a name, an email address or any other contact details.

Stored on your device

Reader profiles (the name, age and picture you choose for each reader), reading progress, finished books, stickers, coloring, wallpapers and settings are saved only on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Deleting the app removes them. You can also remove them yourself with Delete account in the Parent area.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking

• No analytics or crash-reporting tools.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No tracking across apps or websites.
• No data sold or shared with anyone.

Purchases

Premium is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; GIOT never sees your payment details.

To unlock Premium, Drawtale uses RevenueCat, a service that manages in-app purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, created by the app and not linked to who you are, and the App Store purchase receipts, so it can confirm what has been bought. Narration

The Read to me voices are recorded audio that comes inside the app. Where a recording is not available, the device's built-in system voice may read the text. This happens on the device; Drawtale does not send any text or audio anywhere.

Reminders

If you turn on the story time reminder, it is scheduled on the device as a local notification. No push service is involved and nothing is sent to us.

Children

Drawtale is made for families to read together. The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Settings and the account live in the Parent area, which sits behind a grown-up check.

The App Store

Drawtale is downloaded through Apple's App Store. Any information involved in downloading, updating or paying for the app is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, not by us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
